Privacy policy

This policy describes the product's current data flows. The operator must review the final legal text, retention periods, processor list and contact details before public launch.

What Faneg stores

Your email, account profile, personal and shared expense records, receipt images and account security information. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider.

Who sees your information

Personal expenses are private to you. Active household members see that household’s shared ledger and shared receipts, including history. The household owner manages membership and billing, but cannot view members’ personal ledgers.

Account deletion

Personal entries and private receipts are deleted. Shared financial history remains under an anonymized “Former member” reference. Household owners must transfer ownership first.

Your choices

You can export your accessible data, change your password, end your sessions and delete your account in Settings.
